Description
The Roger NeckLoop Universal Receiver replaces both the Roger Neckloop (03) and Roger Neckloop (02) and is compatible with any hearing aid or cochlear implant with a T-coil. It is worn around the neck on a detachable induction loop and gives access to the complete Roger microphone transmitter portfolio.
The neckloop is discreet, lightweight, easy to use and is accessible to any hearing aid with a Tcoil. It can even be tucked under clothing if desired!
For those who are hard or hearing and don’t wear a hearing aid, the neckloop also offers headphone connection.
Please note – for use as a spare/replacement/addition to an existing system. Requires a Microphone Transmitter for the Roger NeckLoop to work – purchased separately.
How does it work?
The Roger Microphone clearly picks-up the voice of a speaker and sends it via radio frequency to the neckloop receiver worn by those who are hard of hearing. The hearing or “induction’ loop is created by the loop around the neck. This creates an electromagnetic field which would be picked up by the receiver in the hearing aid. The hearing aid then converts this back into speech sound for the user to hear.
The receiver has a simple on/off switch. It is powered by a rechargeable battery with easy to check status displayed on the top edge, between the neckloop sockets. The volume can easily be controlled and is displayed on the front of the device along with pairing information. An audible beep will tell you that the microphone is not switched on or the receiver is not paired (connected) with the microphone.
