The PDA103C Counter Hearing Loop System is the ideal solution to create a high-quality fixed hearing loop system for a counter, desktop or ticket booth. Perfect for banks, post offices, small meeting rooms, reception desks, ticket offices and any other application requiring restricted or small area coverage up to 1.2m2.

The PDA103C Counter Hearing Loop System comes with everything you would need to create the hearing loop with the benefit of the amplifier being fitted with a standard 3 pin plug so no specialist installation would necessarily be required.

The kit comes with one of the AMT tie-clip microphones which would need positioning somewhere suitable to capture the voice of the person behind the desk.  However, there is the option of purchasing the AMD desktop mic if preferred.

If a screen is in place on the counter, the PDA103C can be used alongside the on-point through counter speech transfer system.

How does it work?

A fixed hearing loop such as the PDA103C comprises of an Amplifier and a preformed length of loop cable that would be installed under the counter and on the counter wall facing the customer.  This creates an electromagnetic field which would be picked up by the receiver in the hearing aid. Anyone wearing a hearing aid with the T-coil setting could connect to the hearing loop. The amplifier will connect to the AMT Tie Clip Microphone positioned on the desk, picking up speech sound.
