All delivery charges are for the UK mainland. For worldwide delivery please call or email us.

Delivery to UK addresses normally takes 3 – 5 working days from the date of despatch of your order by us. It is made through independent carriers. The independent carrier may require a signature from you on receipt of your order.

Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, or it is damaged or defective, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item.  Items may be subject to a re-stocking fee.

Our Agreement With You

Terms and Conditions of Sale of Albion Detection Systems LTD

  1. Prices

Whilst we do our best to keep any price rises to a minimum, we reserve the right to increase our prices at any time. Should we do so, we will contact you on receipt of your order with details of the increase giving you the opportunity to cancel your order should you wish to do so.

  1. Payment

Should your payment not clear then we may, in addition to any other rights we may have:

  • suspend delivery of the product ordered or any part of them until we receive cleared funds.
  • legally recover those products already delivered to you from you or your premises at any reasonable time and retain ownership until payment is accepted.
  • pass on to you any charges we incur in obtaining clearance of your payment.

Should we not pursue any of these rights immediately we will still retain the right to do so later if we so wish. You will not own the products until your payment for them has cleared.

  1. VAT

VAT is calculated at the prevailing rate at date of invoice. Should the prevailing rate of VAT change from that used in our publications, calculations will be based on new rates and charged to you accordingly.

If you do not receive your order within 28 days of making your order please contact us.

Should your order arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as practicable. Please retain the original packaging.

Additional postage charges may be payable for deliveries to non-UK addresses; please contact us for further details.

  1. Warranty

All our products are covered by our standard original Manufacturers Warranty.

You will invalidate the warranty if:

  • you use the products contrary to instructions supplied with them
  • you cause any damage to the products through misuse or negligent use of them. This warranty is not available.
  • if any Product becomes damaged outside normal usage.

If you wish to rely on this warranty we will at our choice either repair or replace the Products or, if appropriate, any parts of them. If we are unable to carry out any of the above through no fault of our own we will refund the price you paid for the products.

  1. Our Products

Full descriptions of our products are given in our current catalogue.

The products are suitable for the intended uses described.

As a part of our continuing programme of product development we reserve the right to improve and update product designs.

  1. Cancellation

You may cancel your order but to do so you must write to us. We will respond confirming your cancellation and the date your letter was received. The date confirmed is the date the cancellation came into effect.
If on that date we are already manufacturing the special products you ordered, we reserve the right to charge you the full price for those special products and pass on any related expenses, unless we are reasonably able to recover such losses from other sources.

  1. Unforeseeable problems

We will not be in breach of our obligation to you on the happening of any event beyond reasonable control (such as industrial dispute, act of God, inability to obtain raw materials) if this prevents or hinders our obligations to you.

  1. Our Agreement

An agreement is made between us once we receive and accept your order.

These terms and conditions, along with the product descriptions given in our current catalogue will govern our Agreement. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR STATEMENTS WILL APPLY IF WE CONFIRM THEM IN WRITING.

Our agreement and any related matters are governed by English law and could as agreed between the parties be resolved by Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or the Courts.

Your Statutory rights are not affected.

  1. Returning an Item

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item.  Items that are returned are subject to a 30% re-stocking fee.  The cost of original delivery will not be refunded and the cost of return delivery is payable by the customer.

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 5 days of our receiving your return. If you require an exchange, please place a new order online.

Please email info@hearingloop.co.uk with your order number and which items you wish to return. We will then issue a returns number, which needs to be written on the outside of the parcel, along with a returns address.

Please enclose a note stating your order number and the reason for your return.

Albion Detection Systems LTD will check all items returned. In the event we find these have not been returned in their original condition, or in the case of damaged or defective items no fault is found, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us by refunding your return postage costs.

 

 

Data Protection

Albion Detection Systems LTD are committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons:

  • firstly – to process your order
  • secondly – to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • your name
  • address
  • phone number
  • email address
  • credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent and the information we have will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we have about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, please let us know and we will delete or correct it for you.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a “cookie” which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
