With the Roger Clip-On Microphone 1 pack being a truly portable system, there are no costs associated with installation or maintenance.
How does it work?
The Roger Clip-On microphone pen clearly picks-up the voice of the person wearing the microphone and sends it via radio frequency to neckloop receivers worn by those who are hard of hearing. In turn, the neckloop links wirelessly to the hearing aid via the aids T setting.
The microphone is intended to be “clipped” onto the speaker for ease of use but can also connect to a TV, laptop, tablet or other audio device by using the docking station and a regular phono lead. You can also use the short micro-USB audio cable to connect your multimedia device directly to your Roger Clip-On Mic.
The Roger On microphone recognises where the speech is coming from using its Multibeam 2.0 Technology. It automatically chooses the best signal-to-noise ratio and delivers that to your Phonak Hearing Aids or receiver. Thus giving outstanding speech quality in noisy situations.
When should I use it?
Roger Clip-On Mic is a directional microphone transmitter designed for situations where background noise is present. Ideal for use in:
- noisy situations
- over distance
- watching TV
- Audio/voice from the computer radio etc.
What is Roger Technology?
Roger is the exclusive wireless technology from Phonak. Its state of the art digital processing makes speech significantly clearer – automatically adjusting to enhance understanding and comprehension considerably, even in noisy situations.
